Our websites all follow a simple and transparent scheme, that makes the usage especially easy. The pages use so-called »frames«. This means that the browser window gets sub-divided into smaller windows.
<P>
To left is the navigator, which is represented by a stylized totem pole. It offers access to the most important topics of the website. At the top there is a second navigational bar with superior functions. It also indicates in which part of the website you are right now. The frame technique used ensures, that both navigators are visible all the time. The bar at the bottom is solely there for design reasons and serves no special purpose.
<P>
If your browser does not support frames, which can only be the case with very old programs, then you will only see the top navigator, which may scroll up along with the rest of the content.
<P>
All icons are there in two desings: an »inactive« and an »active« form. Active icons tell you in which part of the website you are currently. How the active symbol looks like is demonstrated when you move the mouse pointer over an inactive icon (your browser must support Java Script for that). Our website also uses an active colour guide. All active icons show a dominant colour hue. If you click on an icon and thus enter this area of the website, then you can find this hue again in the thick border of the top navigator. This hue tells you where you are. The meaning of the icons is as follows:
